Message: I'm trying to find out about my grandfather, Samuel Shadbolt, who died in 1928, aged 48yrs.
Amongst my mother's belongings are his Masonic Medals. He may have been a/the founder of the Fleetwood
lodge in 1914, and later he was in the Northern Star Lodge No: 3053, of which I think he was a Grand Master.
I believe he had a brother, possibly two, who were connected with the Masons. How can I find more information
about the Shadbolts?

Message: Nice site. I've always enjoyed the Mark degree ever since I was marked in 1993 in my mother Royal Arch Chapter, Bradford #9, Auburn, Maine, USA. Currently affiliating with East Hills RAC #268, Penn Hills, PA, USA. Pennsylvania now has separate Mark lodges;
not sure if other American jurisdictions follow this practice. My mother Blue Lodge is Ashlar #105, Auburn, Maine, USA. Now serving as Pursuivant in my adopted lodge, Lodge #45 (no name), Pittsburgh, PA, USA. Great to see Masonic light and knowledge spread via the
Internet. Would welcome any email comments from Mark Masters from Maine or the Pittsburgh area.
